Life Pt.1

Alcohol is a dangerous substance when not used in moderation. The Army has introduced me to Various Types Of drunks. From what I can tell the most dangerous is the horny drunk. Tonight, she bangs on the door I blog. The night started as a day, a really boring day, after the night started to set in we decided to hit the bars, both for socialization, and the light buzz that legalized drugs brings to the minds of those who decide to use them against their better judgement. I do admit I drank more than I should have, and pucked once with two heaves as punishment. But afterwards felt better and began to sober up.

My Friend who had drank as much, if not more than me, decided, after failing to get her friend to join her on the journey home, to make the trek alone. With myself and another following closely after. When we got to the barracks she had become obstreperous, refusing to sleep in her own room and wanted to, instead, sleep on my shag rug. In her drunken stupor as a prank she decided to pretend to pass out. Failing the first time she tried again with different tactics. This time it worked, but with a result she hadn't anticipated.

Lying face up eyes open she was completely unresponsive to both voice and touch. Worried, I asked if she was alright. with no response and her breathing became erratic with no rhythm. I hurried to my neighbor, the one who helped me watch her on the way home. Asked him to keep an eye on her while I retrieved the sergeant from CQ down stairs. When I returned triumphant in my latest self-tasking to my room both her and my neighbor were missing. Upstairs we went to her room where my neighbor had put her in bed.

Apparently when I went downstairs to get the sergeant she "remarkably" began feeling fine and walked upstairs herself. My neighbor in tow.

Now strangely enough, she is mad at me, For "telling the sergeant on [her]." and not strange at all I don't feel bad about it because in my mind I preformed the correct, and right action in order to save my friends life.

I guess after tonight i learned a couple things.

1. Don't mix your alcohol.
2. Don't let others buy you drinks.
3. Stay the fuck away from kettle shots.
4. Avoid dealing with drunk people at all costs

Tonight, while initially fun, I would not want to repeat ever again.
